The Watch GT 3 Pro is a clear statement from Huawei as to what it manages to create in the realm of smartwatches. After many unique and increasingly interesting models, it is the watch that the brand wants to make the market standard, especially in the field of design and functionality.
If at first glance it is a traditional watch, it is with its use and attention to detail that everything is revealed. This (almost) work of art is now on our market and therefore Pplware will make known what makes it stand out and unique.
A watch or a smartwatch? In fact, both
One of Huawei’s best bets is in its smartwatch area. It grew in a unique way and is now one of the main players, thanks in large part to the various models it launched, always growing towards what the Watch GT 3 Pro represents.
East new proposition Huawei plays an important role and is a big bet for the brand, as it launches new materials and new design lines. The 46mm model has a titanium finish, while in the model dedicated to the female audience there is a unique ceramic proposal, which is not common among other brands.
If in fact we see in the 46mm model a well-known line in Huawei smartwatches, the truth is that it innovates and completely changes its design. With a solid and well-structured construction, it features details and cutouts that stand out and enhance the central crown of this watch. It was possible to prove this detail with the use we made of it, in this case the dial stands out even more.
It’s clearly a premium device that’s almost luxurious, but becomes affordable and simple to use on a day-to-day basis. Solid, beautiful and well-built, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro stands out for its sobriety and the quality it exudes. Despite its size, this watch is not heavy and did not cause any discomfort during daily use.
Interestingly, we have been approached many times with questions about this device, including its design and features. This detail guarantees that the smartwatch will be another Huawei success story.

A unique design and noble materials always present
This smartwatch stands out for its unique design, where all the elements are grouped together in a natural way. The sapphire screen is durable, with anti-scratch protection for normal everyday use and more aggressive situations.
On the right we have the only two buttons present, each with a different form and function, with the rotating titanium crown on top giving you full control of the watch.
From the use we made of it during the tests carried out, it became almost natural use the crown to navigate the Watch GT3 Pro interface. The second button ended up being reconfigured for a more obvious functionality, this because the sporty aspect was not the most important for the user.
Below is a button/sensor, which allows access to sports functions, which can be set and personalized, but which assumes more functions. It is in fact an ECG sensor which will soon be used to make an electrocardiogram.
The least visible part is even the lower area, where Huawei has placed all the sensors that are on the Watch GT 3 Pro. In addition, we have the loading area, which is stored in this area, which is made of nanocrystalline ceramic, which guarantees permanent comfort.
In testing, this area never felt uncomfortable or overheated. The materials present guarantee this almost imperceptible presence.
Autonomy of several days
One point where the Watch GT3 Pro stands out, following what Huawei has in the other models, is in the battery. We managed to have a duration of 14 days in normal use, as promised by the manufacturer.
With wireless charging, it’s simple and quick to charge and relatively quickly. During our tests, once again the values held what is promised: 25% battery in just 10 minutes, or 100% in less than an hour and a half.
In the models dedicated to female audience, these values decrease slightly. We have 7 days of autonomy in typical use and 4 days in intensive use and a slightly longer charging time.
HarmonyOS, App Gallery and apps are present
Huawei’s choice to support the Watch GT 3 Pro could only be one. We are talking about HarmonyOS, which continues to be, from our point of view, a good option. This release continues to give users the right stuff without the need for essential extras.
Yet Huawei continues to invest in its system and wants to give you more. Proof of this is the possibility of using applications that complement and elevate even more the offer that we can use on this watch.
As with previous models, the GT 3 Pro bases all communications with smartphone in the Huawei Health app. This has grown and is the showcase of collected and interpreted data, as well as the management of watch faces and even installed applications.
Huawei’s experience in this field, the result of its many years of creating smartwatches and smartbands, is very present. The maturity of the application allows simple and fast reading of data, as well as the management of connected equipment.
During the tests carried out, a Huawei smartphone was not used and even so, the application behaved flawlessly. It was simple to find and install from Android Play Store just like Apple App Store, and connecting Huawei GT3 Pro to the smartphone was simple, quick and without any complicated procedures. Just scan the QR code on the case of this watch and away we go transmitted to the application.
At no time, neither in configuration nor in daily use, was there a problem and the integration is seamless, both on Android and iOS. This one looks like a native app and it gives the user a lot of freedom which they don’t have to worry about.
Another interesting feature of the Watch GT 3 Pro is its ability to receive calls directly on the watch. These arrive via Bluetooth and guarantee good conversation quality, as with the previous version.
In addition to all these features, sensors and a unique design, Huawei’s new smartwatch also has GPS and NFC. It is a legacy of previous models, still present and useful in everyday life.
Focus on the health and well-being of users
Even though it is a classic watch and has all the functionality of a smartwatch, Huawei wanted to make the Watch GT 3 Pro a central point for collecting users’ health information.
With an array of useful and essential information, we have in the Watch GT 3 Pro the measurement of heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress monitoring. These elements are used to monitor the user and can be constantly active and controlled.
Each of these streams of user health data is monitored in isolation and with special attention.
When evaluating the data collected, whether related to sleep or to the measurement of heart rate and SpO2, the values are close to the real ones, some of which have even been proven by dedicated medical equipment.
A sporty appearance in an elite smartwatch
Something that the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro could not miss is all its sporty appearance, despite its premium appearance.
Huawei wanted to cover almost all areas of physical activity, so it guarantees that more than 100 activities can be tracked with the Watch GT 3 Pro. These are varied and focus on professional sports or a simple late afternoon run or a trip to the gym and the experience we can get from using them shows that.
Something that the brand wanted to highlight and make it a differentiating element, these are two sports. We are talking about golf, where professional data such as stroke speed and time, backswing time and downswing time are recorded. There are even helpful demos and tips to take your game to the next level.
Another unique element is diving, where the Watch GT 3 Pro has an IP68 rating of up to 5 ATM for water resistance and withstands an astonishing 200 cycles of water pressure. This ensures that it can be used for freediving up to 30 meters deep.
But is the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro really a good choice?
One offered by Huawei stands out on two fronts, making it an almost obvious choice for anyone looking for a premium product. Moreover, looking at the general market, it is also a device that sets standards when it comes to essential areas.
We’re talking about battery life, build quality, and even the health information it can collect, process, and present to the user. It is a proposal with a unique design that naturally stands out in the long list of proposals on the market.
The prices of the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro 46 mm adjust to what it offers and range between 400 euros (black fluoroelastomer model or gray leather) or 520 euros (titanium model). The 43 mm model, on the other hand, costs 500 euros (white leather) or 620 euros (ceramic model), the result of the use of ceramic, a unique construction material.
Huawei once again shows that it is heart and soul in its smartwatch field. The proposals continue to improve and gain in functionality, with unique design and features that put it at the top of consumer preference lists.
